Friday Night Fights

by Michael "Snake Eyes" Foltz on 01/11/16

We get a lot of people here at the park that have never heard of Friday Night Fights (FNF), or just don’t know what it is or what to expect.  So I thought I’d take a little time and fill everyone in.  Simply put; Friday Night Fights is a chance for players to come out and interact with other players in their sport and get to know each other!

All too often we have individuals or groups that come up and play and go home without ever talking with players outside of their circle of friends.  Players become more active in their sport when they know there are others out there that share their same interests and passions.  FNF gives players that opportunity to meet new people and share those interests.

“Great, but what exactly goes on at a FNF event?” you might ask.  FNF starts around 7:00pm, come in get registered and then head to the warehouse.  There you’ll find other players in your sport getting ready for some indoor games.  The whole thing is very laid back, get your gear ready, or hang out and talk to others.  When you are ready, put your safety gear on and walk out into the warehouse, chrono, and wait for the ref to get you onto a team.  It’s that simple!  There’s only one “game” running, so everyone plays together.

Aside from meeting others in your sport, it’s also an opportunity to see other players gear, get ideas for your own, and get advice on what works and what doesn’t.  FNF is also a great place to sharpen skills for newer players, and teach your own skills as an experienced player.  This is also a great place to get interest started for other forms of play!  Looking for paintballers for a MagFed only game, or an Airsoft CQB team?  This is the place to talk it up and get that interest!

Friday Night Fights happens the second Friday of every month for Airsoft, and the Fourth Friday for Paintball.  Have additional Questions?  You can always call or email us here at the park!

Timberline will be closing down April 17th for the summer season. We are relocating to a new facility and will be using the summer months to move our operation, set up new fields, and be ready for the fall. We’ve chosen this time as it’s historically our least busiest time of the year. You’ll notice that we’ve blacked out bookings and party reservations during this time, please keep checking back, as we draw closer to our re-opening and dates will start to become available for bookings. While our new location will not have an indoor facility/warehouse in the beginning, however; it will be more conducive to speedball fields as well as woodland to continue our great mil-sim and woodball offerings! No more rock and gravel speedball fields! Of course, you’ll still get our outstanding customer service, and friendly staff! If you have any questions, drop us an email, or stop by our current location and we’ll be happy to help!
Be sure to come out on the 15th of April for our last big game, and we’ll be out at Lewis Stadium for Relay For Life and Carter’s Off Road Park for their Mud Days in May!
